Inspire a teen to excel! The Y-Achievers Program is a college readiness and career exploration program designed to help teens from all backgrounds set and pursue high educational and career goals. Becoming a Y-Achievers mentor helps strengthen our community by seeing that our youth reach their potential! We are looking for enthusiastic, committed individuals for this growing program.

The program runs September - June, meeting two evenings a month.

Description

The YMCA of Greater Nashua is a not-for profit organization dedicated to providing services and opportunities for youth and families in southern NH. The YMCA provides services in the area of child care, aquatics, camping, sports, Arts & Humanities, Wellness, and leadership development. Last year more than 26,000 different individuals used the YMCA of Greater Nashua. 12,000 of the individuals served were under the age of 18, making the YMCA the largest provider of youth services in Greater nashua after the Nashua school district. Over 1,300 youth and individuals were provided with financial assistance to participate at the YMCA. More than 320 different programs are offered. The YMCA of Greater Nashua has three locations: Nashua YMCA at 17 Prospect St, Nashua; Merrimack YMCA at 6 Henry Clay Dr, Merrimack, and Camp Sargent on Lake Naticook in Merrimack.
