Yolo County Archives is seeking a volunteer to help develop finding aids that will grant the community access to its collections. The volunteer should have knowledge in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. This is an unpaid volunteer position developing the 1996 Board of Supervisors Backup Document records. Duties include (but are not limited to) the development of a data sheet, which briefly describes the provenance of the collection; the creation of the biographical and historical description, as well as, a box and a folder list. The volunteer must have minimum experience working in archives and in special collections. The hours available are Monday-Friday between the hours of 9:00am to 3:00pm.
