Pet parent educators help educate pet families on responsible pet care issues such as veterinary care, behavior and training, nutrition, safety and basic home management techniques. We provide educational opportunities to the general public at various community outreach events, at our monthly Pet Care 101 workshops and during one on one sessions with pet parents by phone and on home visits. We target the northwest side of Chicago, concentrating highly on the Humboldt Park, Logan Square, Hermosa and Belmont Cragin neighborhoods. We work closely with elected officials and social service agencies to bring our services to the community. Pet parents are always so appreciative of our information and supplies that we offer to them free of charge. We help keep pets in their loving homes and help families enhance the bond they have with their pets.
