We are currently seeking a Graphic Designer to serve on the Communications team to develop and implement creative ideas for a multi-state, non-profit scholarship program called Education First. Education First provides college scholarships to graduating high-school students in underserved communities and has awarded over $700,000 in scholarships. Working professionals make up Education First’s volunteer base, each with the opportunity to serve as a board member at a regional, national or officer level.
The following qualifications are preferred or required:
* Experience and access to Adobe InDesign
* Ability to create infographics and graphics for email, website, blog, and letters
* Design portfolio will be required
This position has a time commitment varying between 0-8 hours per week and averages approximately 5 hours per month. This position is designed so it can be held by individuals with other commitments or those interested in adding to their porfolio. Founded in 1995 by a group of recent college graduates, Education First is a nonprofit organization providing college scholarships to lo income youth. The founders of Education First believe that higher education can assist in breaking generational poverty. To promote our mission, we provide both financial and mentoring support to students. Education First targets students who have overcome significant life challenges and are seldom recognized for their achievements.
