We need dedicated people from the community to be active in fundraising events as well as raising awareness in the community about Court Appointed Special Advoctes. Pulaski County CASA's Advisory Board Meets 6 times per year. Each board memeber is expected to donate at least 5 -10 hours per month to the program.
The missiion statement of the Pulaski County CASA program is to recruit and train volunteers to serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates for the best interests of abused and neglected children in juvenile dependency proceedings.
Volunteers serve as advocates for abused and neglected children. CASA Volunteers are trained by program staff to perform an independent investigation and report the findings to the court.
