Volunteers Needed!

The End of Alzheimer's starts with YOU!

Our vision is a world without Alzheimer's disease. We are seeking dedicated, talented volunteers to help us organize the 2015 Farmville Walk to End Alzheimer's. The walk is on October 6, 2015. Registration begins at 4 p.m. and the walk starts at 5:00 p.m. Bring your co-workers, family, and/or dogs and walk the 2 mile route!

Be a Team Captain, assist with publicity, team recruitment, entertainment, and other activities. Opportunities also available in the office.

Mission Statement

The Alzheimer's Association Southeastern Virginia Chapter's mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. Our chapter has been proudly helping those in need for the last 30 years. We serve the community on a local level with three offices reaching deep into our 7,400 square mile area. Our goal is to provide help for today and hope for tomorrow for those living with Alzheimer's disease and their families.

Description

Volunteers help to fulfill our mission by serving on committees, facilitating support groups, assisting with special events, public speaking, and other tasks. Share your time and talent to help to support the mission of the Alzheiemer's Association.
