Want to make a positive impact on the lives of the hungry? Hope 7 Food Pantry needs volunteers to keep our pantry open to those in need Mon thru Fri 9:30am to 11:45am, every Thursday evening 5:00pm - 7:00pm and the last Saturday of every month 9:30am - 11:45am! At the moment we are looking for Wednesday morning volunteers. Also, we need help going to Hannaford in Wynantskill to pick up meat and produce Tuesday thru Thursday mornings. Volunteering would include sorting food and putting clients' food orders together as well as processesing clients paperwork. We always need "muscle" on alternate weeks when the delivery truck arrives with cases of canned goods. Can't actually commit to working the pantry-how about organizing a food drive to keep our shelves stocked or plan a fundraiser-having a special occasion gift giving party-maybe ask guests to bring pantry donations-the possibilities to help are endless-big or small- it all makes an impact.-we are feeding record numbers of people now and can use all the help we can get!
