A mentor and his buddy!

Paul's Place After School Program depends on mentors! We need committed, consistent, compassionate mentors who can give us one hour, one day a week for a school year (or at least a semester). Mentors will assist a child with their homework in a supportive and caring manner, or play educational games or just talk! Volunteers must be a good role model, have patience, and have an interest in working with children as well as a willingness to listen to children. Mentoring is from 4-5 Monday through Friday and you choose one day a week. This position begins in September and goes through December. Background check required. We also have positions for second semester beginning in January and going through May.
