The Yolo County Library-Volunteer Program is searching for Library Material Sleuths who are looking to complete community service hours and want to learn new skills. They must be dedicated and detail-oriented. They help locate materials, shelve and arrange books, plus help with a wide variety of other library tasks. They may also straighten, shift and arrange items in order, assist with book displays and restock materials. Must have the ability to alphabetize and put items in numerical order. Looking for a self-starter who is able to push, bend, stretch, reach, lift and read book spines. Minimum age of 14. Two hour shifts per weeks are available. Orientation, instruction and mentoring are provided.
