The International Friendship Program provides local (State College, Pa-based) residents with an opportunity to extend friendship and hospitality to international visitors who are new to our community. No housing is involved. Hosts offer a personal link to American culture and the activities of the Centre Region, by inviting their friendship partners for dinner, showing them around town and including them in local events. Hosts can be matched with a family or an individual, and meet at least once a month with their friendship partners.
We are especially looking for individuals age 25 or older, as well as families, to host international individuals or families.
