Mission Statement

The mission of Victim Support Services is to support and advocate for victims of crime, adult missing persons and their loved ones, and to provide education about victims' rights and services.

Victim Support Services was the first victim assistance program in Washington State. Started in 1975, VSS is a non-profit support and advocacy organization. It is one of the oldest victim advocacy support groups in the country.

We provide highly trained and empathetic Victim Advocates to people whose lives have been devastated by violent crime, regardless of case status. All of our services are free and confidential.

VSS provides emergency aid, advocacy support during the investigation, prosecution, and sentencing in a case, and help to the loved ones of missing persons.
