On Taproot Foundation pro bono projects, the Project Manager is the primary day-to-day point of contact with a nonprofit client, and the day-to-day leader of pro bono consultant team. The Project Manager acts as one the most senior consultants on each team, owns the project schedule, ensures effective task delegation, and leads regular communication. Project Mangers also contribute subject matter expertise when relevant.
A successful Project Manager:
- Has 5 years of experience in strategy management and/or financial analysis
- Has 2 years of experience leading teams of strategy professionals
- Is organized and detail-oriented
- Has Principal, VP, Senior Consultant or Manager-level experience
A Service Grant project requires a 3-5 hour commitment each week over the course of approximately 6 months. This opportunity is flexible enough to work around the schedule of a full-time job.
