Volunteer at the Walk for Rice!

We have a great opportunity for you to help make this event a success! We expect more than 1,000 walkers to attend the 27th Annual Walk for Rice, on Saturday, June 24th, 2017 hosted by Asian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS). Join us as we strive toward our goal of raising $342,000 to help bring an end to the fight against hunger.

* Who uses the ACRS Food Bank?
Over 5,700 unduplicated individuals, 65% of ACRS Food Bank clients are children under the age of 18 or seniors over the age of 65.

Event Volunteers Needed view and sign up at http://bit.ly/WFR_2017!

Parking/Traffic Control @ Seward Park 7:30-10:30 am - Direct cars to park in appropriate locations. Allow VIPs, performers and event staff in gate to reserved parking areas. Keep roundabout clear for shuttle buses.

Traffic Control @ ACRS 7:30-9 or 9-10:30 am - Direct cars to park at ACRS and have passengers riding the shuttle sign permission slips prior to boarding bus.

Cheering Station on Course 9:30-11:30 am - Encourage walkers/runners with provided signage

Asian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS) is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization offering a broad array of human services and behavioral health programs to Asian Pacific Americans in King County. ACRS is the largest multiservice organization serving all the different Asian Pacific American communities - immigrants, refugees and American born - in the Pacific Northwest.
