Frontier Hospice loves our veterans! We are currently recruiting volunteers to participate in our "We Honor Veterans" program! If you are a veteran and would like to offer companionship, socialization, and support to our wonderful veteran patients, please contact us. Won't you join us in meeting the unique needs of veterans, and the specific challenges that veterans and their families may face at the end of life.
This volunteer opportunity will be held at nursing homes, assisted livings in OKC
We also have a we Honor Veterans program that we do for our Veterans on Hospice Service.

DURING THE COVID PANDEMIC WE ARE ONLY VISITING PATIENTS IN THEIR HOMES, NO NURSING HOMES. OUR MAIN GOAL IS TO KEEP OUR PATIENTS, VOLUNTEERS AND STAFF SAFE. WE WILL NEVER SEND YOU TO A HOME THAT HAS ANY FAMILY MEMBERS TESTING POSITIVE FOR COVID

Description
An innovative concept in healthcare, Hospice brings together a team of specially trained professionals and volunteers who work with the patient's doctor to provide a plan of care designed to control the pain and ease end-of-life struggles for the patient and family. The Hospice Team is made up of professionals from a variety of disciplines and specially trained volunteers working under the stewardship of a Hospice medical director to meet the individual needs of terminally ill patients and their families. The Hospice Team also works with the patient and family's community of faith and/or other spiritual care resources, as requested.
