ORGANIZATION: Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon

Do you LOVE cats and want to help them? Are you comfortable with computers and speaking with clients? We need you!

We're seeking compassionate Receptionist/Phone Support Volunteers to help out in our clinic's office. You'll be recording phone messages, returning calls, and scheduling appointments for cats in need of spay/neuter services.

This important position has a direct impact on improving the lives of community cats and helping the kind people who care for them. You'll also gain valuable experience in customer service, office management, and effective communication.

Shifts are typically once a week during our regular office hours, Monday-Friday 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Office shifts are 9:00 am -1:00 pm and 1:00 pm -5:00 pm

Our mission is to improve the lives and reduce the population of stray and feral cats through spay/neuter services and education. Since our founding in 1995, we've spayed/neutered and vaccinated more than 89,000 stray and feral cats.

Description

The Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon (FCCO) is a nonprofit spay/neuter program for stray and feral cats. Since our founding in 1995, more than 100,000 cats have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated through our clinics.

Volunteers help in many aspects of our organization, including office and administration, cat recovery care, fundraising and event planning, and community outreach. Veterinarians and Certified Veterinary Techicians also assist our technical team. Whatever your strengths or interests, we have an opportunity for you!
