Greeters should have excellent customers service skills. They should be able to multi-task and problem-solve. Greeters have to work well under pressure because they will have to work with large crowds. They also have to be able to handle conflict, as some of the customers may be upset regarding their unemployment or other issues. Greeters should be able to thoroughly answer questions and direct customers to the appropriate program or staff person at the center. They should also be able to take initiative, for example, if they can’t answer a question, they should be able to locate the correct answer before the customer leaves
