The Village Project

We are seeking volunteer mentors who want to make a difference in the life of an at risk youth. Volunteer mentors serve as positive adult role models. Volunteers must be at least 21 years of age and are required to pass a criminal record check. Mentors and youth will be provided ongoing support and training by the Village Project staff members. If you are looking to help a young person succeed and have fun while doing it, this is the place for you!

The Village Project Mentor Program helps court-involved youth to become contributing members of their community through supportive one-on-one mentor-mentee relationships with positive adult role models.

Description

The Village Project Mentor Program aligns volunteer mentors with at risk and court involved youth. Through one on one contact with the mentor mentee, the youth is not likely to re-offend.
