Child Care Provider
Childcare Providers serve the clients of Safe Haven by providing childcare programming while mothers attend support groups. Our fun and educational activities empower the children to develop appropriate coping mechanisms, safety planning skills and positive ways to deal with stress. With their children in a safe and supportive place, our clients have the opportunity to learn how to live a life free from abuse. This opportunity will be available for Tuesday and Thursday evenings and/or Wednesday mornings.
*All volunteers will be required to complete a criminal background check.

Description
Safe Haven Ministries seeks to empower women and children as they deal with domestic abuse in their lives. We provide residential and non-residential services to abused women and their children. These services include, but are not limited to: shelter, support groups, individual counseling, case management, and legal advocacy.
