Ever been with a friend when they received the exciting news about a new job? Remember how wonderful it was to see that happen? Seeing that smile and knowing that you had been a "friend in need" when you listened to their struggles in finding a job that will help support their family? We have an opportunity for you to see that very same smile from people who visit our Employment Resource Center! Come help us and work with folks who are in need of a simple resume and cover letter. We provide the training and have an on-site coordinator to assist you! It takes approximately one hour with each client and we are flexible! Come join us and be around to see that fantastic excitement when your recipient gets the job!
We are looking for volunteers who "know their way around" the internet and are able to assist their recipient with applying for a job on-line, work with a client to refine his/her resume, assess their abilities to interview and offer constructive advice for a successful interview. Hours will be once a week, either 9:00 - 1:00 or 1:00 - 4:00 shift at our main office at 2820 W. Ina Rd, or on the east side at the ICS office located within New Spirit Lutheran Church, 8701 E. Old Spanish Trail from 10:00 - 3:00.

Interfaith Community Services is a non-profit agency that helps seniors, disabled individuals and people in financial crisis in Pima County achieve stable and independent lives though support from over 950 volunteers, 109 faith communities and the community-at-large. We share a common belief that our diverse faiths call us to serve those in need. Our services and volunteer opportunities are open and welcoming to all regardless of faith tradition. Description
Our multiple services are often the "safety net" that help our recipients remain or become stabilized, enabling them to lead independent lives. We are providing services for thousands of people in need. Over the past year, we have provided 45,714 services, over 20.034 individuals were served and provided $650,098 of financial services.
