During these uncertain times, how can we help?

Hello, our in-person workshops are on hold during this very challenging time. We will try for a January, 2021 workshop series, if safety allows.
Enjoy improvisational theatre and dance/group singing workshops with teens and young adults with autism. Just by being yourself you model social skills that are of great benefit to them. This is perfect for first-time volunteers. We hope that you will join us for most or all of an 8-week cycle of workshops, held on Saturday afternoons in Encinitas. You are welcome to visit a program to see if it’s a good fit for you. You don't need to have any prior experience in the performing arts, just a willingness to enjoy improvisational theatre, choreographed dance, and group singing with your peers with autism. We don't point out our volunteers once in the workshop to create a feeling of equality.
Workshops are on Saturday afternoons in Encinitas.
Improv Theatre Workshops: 3:00-4:00 p.m., and 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Performing Arts: (group singing and choreographed dance) 5:00-6:00 p.m.
Join us! You are welcome to volunteer at one or all of our workshops, if we have room. See 'Program Info' page on website (www.pacthouse.org) for dates of upcoming workshops, Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 760-815-8512 for more info or to request our volunteer forms. Forms are also available on our website, but please contact our office before coming to a workshop.
This is a great opportunity for you to master the performing arts, get to know some great people, and help your peers with autism learn the social and communication skills that will enable them to develop their full potential. It's also a lot of fun!
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.
