Positive Action Community Theatre (PACT)

  • 238 people are interested

We are looking for two teens or young adult volunteers from the San Diego County area to participate in our virtual improvisational theatre workshops for teens and young adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. We hold weekly 40 minute Zoom workshops on Tuesdays at 4:00 p.m., Wednesdays at 3:00 p.m., Fridays at 4:00 p.m., and Saturdays at 3:00 p.m.

This is an opportunity to enjoy improvisational theatre and get to know some great people of all abilities. Just by being yourself and participating in the workshop activities you model neuro-typical social behavior, and help our participants learn the social and communication skills that are their greatest challenge. The workshops are led by young adults with autism, and monitored by PACT Executive Director.

Contact the PACT office at info@pacthouse.org or 760-815-8512 for more info and to request our volunteer info form and liability waiver. Forms are also available on our website. After we receive your completed form we will contact you for an interview.
