On-Call Position. On-Call Hospital Advocates respond to referrals from area hospitals and clinics; meet with patients who have experienced domestic or sexual violence and provide support, information, referrals and safety planning.
Shifts are generally available for overnights and weekends.

18 years or older and has not received Alexandra House services in the last year. In general, live within 30 miles of Unity and Mercy Hospitals. Must have valid driver’s license, current auto insurance and reliable vehicle. Must have a hard-line telephone or cell phone with reliable reception. Requires Volunteer Interview, Volunteer Orientation, Background Check, Information Session, 50-hour training, Attendance at any additional volunteer meetings.
