HABcore strives to provide 3 well-balanced and nutritional meals to over 50 residents on a daily basis. We will also create food baskets for 50 additional residents that are housed under our Independend Living Program, which includes families and individuals We are looking for community members to help us supplement this need. Flyers will be provided to help promote your food drive, as needed.
We are seeking the following non-perishable items:
1.Cereal
2.Coffee
3.Rice
4.Canned goods (vegetables, fruit, sauces, soups, tuna, beans)
5.Pasta
6.Instant potatoes
7.Oatmeal
8.Peanut Butter
9.Personal care items (toothpaste/brushes, soap, haircare, shaving needs, laundry detergent)
10.Snack items (granola bars, nuts, dried fruit)

Mission Statement
HABcore, by providing permanent housing and individualized support, helps homeless families, veterans, and individuals with special needs move through crisis to stability, giving them the opportunity to improve their lives.
Description
Since 1988, HABcore has provided "Stability, Dignity and Hope for the Homeless" by providing permanent and supportive housing in a family setting to low-income persons. HABcore has programs for families, veterans, and individuals with special needs. The focus is on people who are homeless or in danger of becoming homeless, disabled or unable to care for themselves, affording them lives of dignity and meaning. The primary goal of the organization is to promote self-sufficiency in a structured, family-like atmosphere, so that we furnish our residents with the tools to reach their highest level of independent living. HABcore is guided by an all-volunteer board and employs 19 people who provide general administration, 24-hour supervision in our boarding homes and case management services to our independent living sites.
