At Heartland we depend on our hospice volunteers to help us provide the extra love and care for our patients and their families need at this challenging time in their life.
Friendly Visitor Volunteers offer support, companionship, and practical help. Whether it's running errands or staying with the person in the home while family members take a break and go for groceries. OR visiting with a patient in the nursing home. You can read to them the newspaper a short story, watch sports with them or any TV program.
Do you have a school or church choir who would like to perform on special occasions?
Do you have MUSICAL TALENT? Sing or play an instrument or do karaoke?? Any musical activity you would like to share with our patients is welcome. Do you like to do arts and crafts?
