- Converse with members of the military who are serving now, or in the past.
- light cleaning, and snack preparation.
- Engage in conversation and offer information about the local area with those passing thru.
- Assist a young adult in makng their transition from civilian life to the military a little eaisier.
- Help stranded passangers navigate the city, find transportation, hotels and great places to dine.
- Help families relax in a quiet and inviting enviroment for a few hours.
- Create a enviroment just like your home and welcome our guest like family.
- Give back to those who protect our freedoms.
- Short shifts (4 or 6 hours0
- help plan fun events, craft and game nights or share a hobby with others like fishing, or frisbee golf.
- Help with fundraisers like Motor cycle rallies, Golf outings, etc.
- 12 hours per month

Mission Statement
Our mission is to enhance the quality of life of the US Armed Forces personnel and their families who reside or transit the State of Wisconsin, and to create cooperative partnerships between the US Military communities and involved or supporting local civilian communities in Wisconsin through support and morale-boosting programs and services.
The USO of Wisconsin is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. In 1984, we were incorporated at a charter center of the USO organization. We are solely supported by the generosity of private citizens, community and veterans organizations, corporate gifts and foundations grants. We do not receive funding from the USO organization, government or military.
The staff and volunteers proudly serve the over 25,000 military personnel and their families in Wisconsin.
Description
To work in the centers located at the Airport or MEPC located on Liberty drive in Milwaukee. You would offer comfort, snacks, and information to the military and their families.
