Make a difference in a Hospice patient's end of life journey by assisting in the care of their pet. Many patients experience stress when their pets have needs they can no longer meet. Our volunteers provide basic pet care, such as feeding, walking pets, changing litter boxes, or picking up food provided by Hospice and delivering it to patients' homes. Our volunteers also provide assistance, if needed by helping with adoption drives to find homes for pets whose owners have passed away. This opportunity is great for individuals who would like to give patients and their families the opportunity to know that their pets will be taken care of and loved!
