ORGANIZATION: The Hospice of Baton Rouge

The Hospice of Baton Rouge

Make a difference in the lives of our Hospice patients by helping them to live as fully and comfortably as possible. Our Direct Patient Care Volunteers provide companionship for patients, and respite for their caregivers. Volunteers play cards with patients, read to them, or just visit and provide someone to talk with. The Hospice of Baton Rouge volunteers play a vital role in enhancing the quality of care delivered to our patients and their families. The compassion and caring that our volunteers bring to our patients and families can make a tremendous difference during the end of life process.
