Are you 21 years or older? We need you to mentor one of our residents! The only experience you need is the ability to be a friend to someone who needs a listening ear and the blessing of your time. A minimum commitment of one hour per week is required for you to spend quality time with the young person you're matched with. Training for Volunteers is provided and on-going once you are matched. Adelbrook Behavioral and Developmental Services provides hope and healing for young people and families in a Christian enviornment.
Description
Adelbrook Behavioral and Developmental Services is a multi-service agency dedicated to helping people of all ages who need specialized mental health treatment and/or developmental services.
We provide residential services for young people and a program for boys on the Autism Spectrum. We also operate three group homes for young women and multiple group homes for boys on the Autism Spectrum with long term needs.
We have a certified education program on grounds and at our new location in Manchester, CT, a Transitional Academy in Middletown, CT as well as innovative living and family supports, and community services outpatient therapy.
