Empower refugees and recent immigrants by teaching them the single most important skill for survival in Salt Lake City-English! Utah Health and Human Rights Project has partnered with the English Skills Learning Center to train volunteers to tutor English. This is a great chance to volunteer with two well established organizations in one volunteer opportunity. In addition to training, the ESLC provides a teaching curriculum so that you feel prepared! Approximately 2 one-hour sessions per week for 6 months is expected. Help refugees begin to rebuild their lives!
