The 2018 hurricane season has been extraordinarily active in parts of the U.S., with Hurricane Florence currently impacting millions in the Carolinas. As this natural disaster unfolds, the staff here at VolunteerMatch is doing its part to ensure that, if you are in an affected community, you are prepared and safe. Enjoy exciting outings in Seattle and the surrounding areas visiting museums, festivals, casinos, restaurants, theaters and more. Trip Drivers arrive 30 minutes before a trip to meet with 4-12 seniors in the center bookstore and then drive the center van to the trip locations. During trip the driver will lead the trip attendees and assist with check ins and meeting with tour guides. Trip Drivers will then return everyone to the center.
While driving a trip the Trip Driver will be reimbursed up to $10 of their lunch / $15 of their dinner, and the center will cover their admission on the trip.
