We have expanded our service and need volunteers for our school based program in both Midland and Odessa. These volunteers meet with their Littles during the school day for 45 minutes a just get together to talk, play or read together no tutoring needed. We just ask you to be a friend so your child know they have someone they can count on.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Midland, Texas, Inc. is to provides children facing adversity with strong and enduring professionally supported one-to-one mentoring relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.

Description

Volunteers mentor children, 5-18 years old, in one-to-one relationships. Mentors serve as role models helping the children increase their self-confidence, develop social skills, and reach their full potential. Being a Big Brother or Big Sister is about simple, magical moments like... going to your first ball game, catching butterflies, learning to play "chopsticks". As a "Big" you are simply a friend to a child. If you know how to have fun, you know how to be a Big Brother or Big Sister!
