A Community Accountability Board (CAB) is a team of volunteers that meet with Juveniles from their community who have been accused of a misdemeanor offense as an alternative to having their criminal charge dealt with in court. CAB members meet with the youth and their parents/guardians to discuss the impacts of the youth's offense on the victims and community. The youth is assigned requirements by the CAB focused on accountability and prevention of repeat offenses.
