Beacon Hospice provides quality end-of-life care to local terminally-ill patients. We are looking for caring and compassionate individuals in your area to spend time with our patients. Many patients have little to no visitors and really enjoy friendly visits from a volunteer. We are also looking for pet therapy volunteers, veterans, reiki certified or musicians.
There is a free training course that is required on what hospice is and how to interact with hospice patients. We will be offering a training that begins on Wednesday, March 28 at 6pm and will run for 4 weeks. We will also be offering a daytime training that will begin on Friday, March 30 at 10:00 am and will also run for 4 weeks.
