Volunteers needed for equine assisted therapy program. Children - Adults! Lots of fun and very gratifying work!
Side walkers assist the mounted rider to complete exercises as they are guided by the PATH certified instructor. Lots of physical support for the participants and social interaction between volunteers and riders.
No horse experience needed for side walkers. Teachers, therapists, teens 16 years and older are all welcome!
Horse leaders must have equine experience and are required to participate in the regular lesson program to know our horses and farm procedures.

Description
Animal Assisted Therapy Services provides both canine and equine assisted therapy for adults and children who have experienced trauma, or have cognitive or physical disabilities.
