Gerinet Healthcare is looking for Music Therapists to donate a couple of hours a week in making the most difficult time in a person's life less frightening as well as soothing their souls.
Free hospice orientation is provided along with free physicals and TB exams. Following training, volunteers are placed with patients as close to the volunteer's home as possible.

Remita Health volunteers are specially-trained individuals with a heart for terminally-ill patients and their family members. These volunteers are an invaluable and essential part of the interdisciplinary team, and we are always looking for compassionate people to becoming volunteers!
Our program is broken down into several sub-programs to best meet the needs of the patients and families all over the San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, San Gabriel Valley and Los Angeles areas. To volunteer with Remita Health, the most important thing our volunteers need to possess is a desire to help with care and compassion. Volunteers should be great listeners, have a strong comfort with death and the dying process, and able to document work clearly and concisely.
