On Saturday, April 29, 2017 The Guidance Center will be hosting their 6 th Annual Downriver DASH 5K Run/Walk at Wayne County Community College- Downriver Campus. This event is hosted and organized by The Guidance Center to promote physical activity and wellness. We are looking for volunteers to help assist and we was hoping that you would like to join us again.

Tasks include:

  • Setup
  • Registration
  • Course monitors
  • Traffic Directors
  • Start/Finish
  • Water station
  • Recovery station
  • Cleanup
  • Traffic Control

The Guidance Center (formerly Downriver Guidance Clinic) is an innovative leader in providing quality behavioral health, substance abuse, and community outreach services to children, adults, and families. The private, nonprofit agency is at the forefront of creating new prevention and educational models to help children and families deal with mental health and substance abuse issues and has a history of responding to the ever-changing needs of the people of Downriver and metropolitan Detroit communities.
