ReadWest Adult Literacy Program is looking for Volunteers to be trained as English as a Second Language Tutors. After training, you will be matched with one adult student and meet once a week for two hours. No teaching or foreign language experience is necessary. We have an all English approach. Let us show you how! 1 1/2 hour Orientation followed by a Saturday of training from 9 am to 5 pm. For more information and training dates visit readwest.org or call 505-892-1131. Description
ReadWest has been helping adults learn to read, write, and speak English for over 30 years. Trained volunteers meet with an adult learner once a week for two hours. We help improve the reading and writing levels of English speakers. We also help English Language Learners acquire survival English and workplace vocabulary. NO teaching experience needed. We have an all English approach, so NO foreign language experience is required.
