Pilots are focused driven on various opportunities to Feeding thousands of hungry people and supporting our Veterans; Other Service projects are:

  • Canine Assistance, a Service Dog program
  • Honoring disabled individuals through the arts, Georgia Artists with Disabilities
  • Supporting Veterans, through Stand up for Stand down;
  • Supporting disabled juveniles through Metro Atlanta Respite and Developmental Services (MARDs);
  • Teaching brain protection to children with Pilot’s own educational program, BrainMinders TM (Anchor Club);
  • Support youth mentorship via Anchor Club, Sunday in the Park and providing scholarships for college educations;
  • Fund raising for projects to support brain disorders and Relay or Life
  • Service focus undertaken by Pilots to support H.E.R.O

Mission Statement

The historic inspiration for the name was the riverboat pilot who would steer a true course through calm or troubled waters. Thus, the motto, "True Course Ever".

Description

Pilot International, a volunteer service organization with 9,400 member volunteers in 6 countries, celebrating 93 years of its founding. The Pilot Club of Atlanta, Inc. is a local chartered service organization and a 501(c)(3)

Pilot members are business and professional leaders who share a common trait, the desire to help people affected by brain related disorders in need and to make the world a better place to live.

Pilot International is a large volunteer service organization and its mission is "To serve by furthering Pilot International’s humanitarian effort through charitable, education, and research programs in communities throughout the world." Pilot’s signature project is Brain Minders "Protecting Your Brain for Life." This program encompasses many areas from Pre-K children up to autism up to seniors and adults Alzheimer’s.
