Assist with all aspects of our program including marketing, planning and implementing fund-raising events and drives, basic bookkeeping entries, graphic design, document production, publishing, pre- and post-program assessments, scheduling, presentations, administrative assistance in day-to-day operations, purchasing, written and phone solicitations, mass mailings, seminar preparation and setup will be implemented and handled by our youth and adult volunteers. You will learn business operations and decision making, while participating in the program.
For our more mature and experienced or retired business volunteers: You will also be asked to become our board members.
PIE, Inc.'s mission is to empower low-income, present and future employment candidates who may be high school and college students and graduates, the homeless, veterans and the unemployed who would benefit from free, specific, streamlined seminar sessions and workshops. We intend to improve their odds of becoming gainfully employed, productive citizens. It is our goal to make a huge impact by changing the employment status of low-income candidates in Palm Beach County. This program addresses the issues low-income employment candidates in Palm Beach County, Florida, face, and provides detailed suggestions, tips and techniques to present and market themselves positively, professionally and effectively to potential employers. Through this program we make a difference in the lives of our clientele by equipping them with the skills needed to compete in this very competitive job market and harsh economic climate.

We also refer eligible clients to recruiters, HR managers, adult education centers, homeless and veterans outreach organizations, unemployment job centers and job training facilities and present guest professional speakers during some of our sessions.
