Community Wellness Collaborative is a 501(c)(3)non-profit holistic wellness organization with a storefront clinic on Adams Avenue at the corner of Adams and Bancroft St.
The 41st annual Adams Avenue Street Fair, presented by U.S. Bank, features 75 musical acts on seven stages and is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Saturday, September 23, and 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, September 24, 2023.
Southern California’s largest free two-day festival is in San Diego’s Normal Heights neighborhood. Adams Avenue businesses are proud sponsors of this event that has expanded to 10 blocks. In addition to the fantastic music schedule, it features carnival rides, beer gardens, beer tastings, festival foods, and 300 exhibitors with unique offerings.
Community Wellness will be hosting an info booth in front of our clinic with giveaways from Guayaki Yerba Mate, Zico Coconut Water, and others, as well as an Open House throughout our facility.
We are closely connected with the Business Association that hosts the event and our volunteers may be needed to assist the nearby stages within a block of our clinic. Friends and family members are playing across the street at the Ska Bar
We are looking for volunteers to help us set up and tear down our info booths and greeting guests throughout the weekend. We need help distributing information, signing up potential new patients, giving away healthy swag, and enjoying the festival!

Description
Community Wellness Collaborative (formerly known as Alternative Healing Network) is a San Diego-based 501(c)(3)nonprofit committed to improving access to healthcare and investing in community wellness. Simply put, our mission is to improve everyone’s access to quality, affordable, integrative wellness care.
Since 2007, we’ve provided over 30,000 free wellness services across the city. Our Adams Ave clinic offers affordable, sliding-scale services, raising funds to facilitate weekly free community wellness outreach events for underserved populations.
Our services include:
- Acupuncture
- Clinical massage therapy
- Chiropractic
- Naturopathic medicine
- Nutrition and detox
For every three sessions we provide in our clinic or for every one month of membership, we give one session away for free to someone who might not otherwise be able to afford it.
