Community Wellness Collaborative is a 501(c)(3)non-profit holistic wellness organization with a storefront clinic on Adams Avenue. The ADAMS AVENUE UNPLUGGED Festival is an annual free live acoustic music walkabout throughout Normal Heights and Kensington. For this event, Community Wellness will host a stage of music in our parking lot and an Open House throughout our facility.
We are looking for volunteers to help us set up tenting and info booths as well as a sound system for our artists. We'll be hosting 3 musical acts as well as honoring our members and patients as VIP's at the event. We need help distributing information, signing up potential new patients, giving away healthy swag, and greeting our guests. We also need help keeping the crowd within the boundaries of our parking lot and not spilling out into the street where traffic could be dangerous.

Description
Community Wellness Collaborative (formerly known as Alternative Healing Network) is a San Diego-based 501(c)(3)nonprofit committed to improving access to healthcare and investing in community wellness. Simply put, our mission is to improve everyone’s access to quality, affordable, integrative wellness care.
Since 2007, we’ve provided over 30,000 free wellness services across the city. Our Adams Ave clinic offers affordable, sliding-scale services, raising funds to facilitate weekly free community wellness outreach events for underserved populations.
Our services include:
- Acupuncture
- Clinical massage therapy
- Chiropractic
- Naturopathic medicine
- Nutrition and detox
For every three sessions we provide in our clinic or for every one month of membership, we give one session away for free to someone who might not otherwise be able to afford it.
