We need volunteers ages 14 and up to assist with food drives we are having every Saturday and Sunday to assist our low kids and families in Montgomery County. We will be collecting food in front of grocery stores in Rockville Gaithersburg Bethesda and Germantown Saturday and Sunday. Must attend 1.5 hour training prior to food drive. This is a SSL-approved activity and the 1.5 hours for training will be counted towards your SSL-hours.
Time Details: Saturdays 7am-7pm; Sundays from 7am-7pm. Sign up for one or more shifts on those two dates.

Description
Founded in 2001, we are a nonprofit organization established to restore men women and children to wholeness through several program areas: food pantries for families, a Helping Kids Eat Backpack Weekend Food program to ensure school-age children don't go hungry over the weekend, when free and reduced meals aren't being served; homeless and domestic violence assistance, re-entry programs for those incarcerated, life skills workshops for those entering the work force; mentoring groups for youth and assistance with substance abuse recovery.
