This isn't the phone company, but I do need to talk to you - Are you a smooth talker, do you have a golden voice, can you direct an outbound call and reach the end product? If so, we need you. We have the need to make a large volume of outbound calls to the homebound and socially isolated and we need your help to get to them.
If you like the phone, like people, take good notes and want to learn something new, this posting is for you. The need is ongoing and is tentatively beginning in September. Location is Windsor, CT
Requirements to be a great volunteer include:
a desire to help others;
a pleasant demeanor;
a good reading/speaking voice;
average reading skills;
organizational or planning abilities;
a good driving record;
a clear criminal history;
access to a car with proof of insurance;
a minimum of $50/100k liability and $5,000 of property damage coverage.

The Bureau of Education and Services for the Blind enables its clients to become more self-sufficient and to maximize their participation in the community, at school and in employment settings.
