Children Living in Extreme Poverty

One of our clinics is located in the western highlands, the other in the jungle, both provide assistance to those living in poverty, specifically indigenous populations. Medical and Dental volunteers may work with our doctors in our clinic, then travel to the remote rural areas evaluating and treating those in need. All medical specialities are needed.

We embrace all interested volunteers! Performing and visual arists, teachers, students, anthropologists, biologists, world travelers, and tourists. We will develop a program to highlight your area of expertise or let us create an unforgetable tour of the area. Our travel dates are flexible to accomodate your schedule.

We encourage volunteers to bring school materials to donate to the children-in-need. Fee includes all round trip in-country transportation, 2 meals per day and lodging. Remaining monies are donated to Ninos Shecanos to provide food and medical assistance to those living in extreme poverty.

All are welcome! Check out www.shuarhands.com
