Welcome House of Northern Kentucky has a Shelter for women and children located in Covington, KY. We shelter up to 35 women and children at a time.

All of the residents of our shelter are working hard with their Service Coordinator to obtain or increase their income and find housing. For the residents, the peace of mind that comes with knowing they and their children have a bed to come home to and meals provided every day allows them to shift out of "survival mode" to really focus on the steps they need to take to go from homeless to home.

Providing a meal to our shelter residents helps make the shelter feel a little more like home, and who doesn’t love a home-cooked meal?

We are looking for volunteers to provide dinner for the guests at our shelter any night of the week, all year round. You or your group provide the groceries, cook in your own home, and deliver the meal between 2-3PM. There is no serving of the food involved, as our dining area is not set up cafeteria style and residents
all eat on their own schedules.

We're always grateful for donated meals, but we do ask you to sign up as early as possible so we can put you on our meal calendar, to ensure that we don't have duplicate meals donated the same night.
