Northern Virgnia Family Service seeks volunteers passionate about helping families become and maintain self sufficiency to assist with our Vehicles for Change program. Volunteers will assist with client intake process to help low-income individuals gain access to transportation to work so they can become self-reliant.

Volunteers will:

• Field incoming calls, screen potential clients for eligibility and answer their questions about the program.
• Help eligible clients complete the application process and review to ensure the application is complete.
• Co-facilitate montly car donation distribution which includes meeting individually with clients, verifying paperwork and eligibility and doing a visual inspection of the car with client
