The National Aviary seeks dynamic individuals who would enjoy one-on-one educational interactions with our visitors. Our Daily Volunteers act as exhibit interpreters (docent), explain bird facts, and provide National Aviary visitors with valuable conservation education through informal talks and guided tours. They also assist staff with interactive bird feedings, educational outreach programs and special event crafts and games.
We ask for a minimum commitment of eight (8) hours per month.
