Hospice volunteers provide respite for family members and companionship to the client in their home setting. The ideal hospice volunteer is a caring, competent individual who is comfortable with end of life issues. Hospice volunteers do not provide medical care, rather support the family at a difficult time. Hospice volunteers also help support our work in many other ways as they are willing and able, including administrative tasks.

Training and screening is required to become a hospice volunteer. Our next training is scheduled for Spring 2017. Pre-registration for training is required.
