We are seeking friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic people to lead visitors on tours of San Diego's historic Gaslamp Quarter. Meet people from all over the world and provide a fun outdoor activity for visitors, while highlighting our unique history and culture!

Our tour guides lead guests on historic tours of the Gaslamp Quarter and Historic Davis-Horton House, provide additional tour information to guests, and ensure a safe, educational, and fun experience for visitors.

Must be willing to laugh, joke, and have fun, maintain high level of professionalism, enjoy interacting with visitors and prospective customers, and create a comfortable atmosphere for visitors.

We are currently looking for tour guides to lead our Thursday and Saturday tours. You must be at least 18 years of age, able to stand and walk for at least 2 hours, and be willing to make a six-month minimum commitment. We provide full training!

Description

The Gaslamp Quarter Historical Foundation is the "curator" of the Gaslamp Quarter--a 16 block district listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Through its operation of the Gaslamp Museum at the Davis-Horton House, the Gaslamp Quarter Historical Foundation has promoted the educational, historical, and cultural development of the historic Gaslamp Quarter for over 25 years.
