After-school Math Tutoring is a one-on-one reading program for at-risk students. We pair struggling students in fourth through sixth grade with a committed mentor who works with the student for one hour twice a week from October 2019 to April 2020. The relationship that develops between the tutor and the student is transformative and is critical for driving academic success.
We are looking for math tutoring mentors for 4th-6th grade students for the 2019-2020 school year at Karshner elementary school. Sessions are twice a week from 3pm - 4pm (Tuesdays and Thursdays) at Karshner Elementary. Come help kids with addition/subtraction, multiplication/division, and some fractions!
Time Commitment: An hour twice every week 1st session (10 weeks) starts October ends in Janauray, 2nd session (10 Weeks) begins in January and ends in April.
