Help us develop the next generation of female engineers, chemists, geologists and more! Using the ready-made Techbridge program, girls will explore various scientific disciplines through hands-on activities. Activities include using the scientific method to brainstorm, sketch and build prototypes, using a green design process to create a model studio, and exploring electrical energy by learning to solder and build circuits. We are seeking women engaged in scientific fields to lend expertise to this project. There are varying levels of commitment. You could assist with a single-day event, run a one-time workshop, or help organize a several week series. Activities can take place in any of our 9 counties (Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Niagara, Orleans, and Wyoming). We welcome partnerships with universities/colleges, organizations and businesses. No Girl Scout background required - minimal training convenient for your schedule!
