"We cannot thank you enough for your kindness and generosity and it helped us so much to have a hot meal at the end of each stressful, scary day. Ginger is getting released today and going home for the first time. We are grateful beyond words." (The Hammel Family)
These words ring true for most of our guests. In times of medical crisis, it is traditional for families and friends to prepare meals for loved ones. At RMHC Dayton, our families spend long days and nights at the hospital with their child. When they come back to their "home-away-from-home," a hot nutritious meal gives these exhausted and overwhelmed families the chance to relax and connect with others before the next day starts.
Visit our website at rmhcdayton.org to see a calendar of available dates and to sign up for to prepare a hot meal for our guest families.
